The Best Electric Car Models Available Today

There are many electric cars that are currently on the market and they are all very different. This can make it overwhelming for some people to decide which one is the best for them when trying to buy their first electric car. Today, I am going to rank my choices for the top electric cars and why I think they are the smartest buy.

The first car that I think is a top choice is the Tesla Model 3. The Model 3 is currently Tesla's cheapest option, but still comes with the features of higher end models. You will still have the benefits of self driving, acceleration that many people look for in Tesla, and a range of a whopping 310-325 miles per battery life. The car starts at just $35,000 making it affordable to many people and a great deal for the price.

The next car on the list is the Hyundai Ioniq EV. This car is one of the cheapest electric cars that you can currently buy and is more for people who want to buy an electric car, but don't want to spend a lot of money on it. The car is just $29,815, but does not have the features or luxuries that higher end electric cars come with such as the popular self-driving feature. It also has less of a range topping out at 110 miles per battery life. However, this is still a viable option for the price.

The third car that makes my list is the Porsche Taycan. The Taycan is the most luxurious car on the list and is one of the fastest. It is a brand new car on the market and is aimed for more wealthy people who want a new, fun electric car. Grab your wallet because the price gets up to $185,000.

The fourth and final car on my list is the Jaguar I-Pace. The I-Pace is the only SUV on the list and is in the middle of the group on price. The I-Pace starts at $69,500. This might seem too expensive for most people. But, when buying an electric car, you need to be prepared to spend a lot of cash if you want to get a top of the line car instead of a cheap budget car.

These cars all make the top of my list for their own individual reasons. I hope that giving you these options help you to make a decision if you decide to buy an electric car or if you ever need to compare and contrast options to make an educated choice.
